A change in focus.

OK, I'll admit it. I am not a diligent blogger.
There are, of course, all the usual reasons for this: family commitments, the need to spend time on money-making projects, the economy (we can blame anything on that now, right?). So I am rethinking what the Treeline Travelogue should be, and I have decided it should be just what its name suggests: a resource for design-related travel.
I will, therefore, no longer be posting general interest pieces, critiques, current event notices, or incoherent ramblings. I will be instead dedicating my efforts to a couple of more beneficial (I feel) tasks:
-- I am creating podcasts of many of the articles I write for a variety of magazines. These are available for (free) subscription through iTunes (just search for Treeline) or at treeline.podbean.com. A few are already out there, so check them out.
-- I am guest-blogging at Land8Lounge (doing member profiles) and, soon, at Threshold (AIA Minnesota's on-line presence). Being on a well-populated pleasure cruise will be far more fun than rowing the Atlantic alone.
-- I will continue to explore design in the cities I visit and post detailed "armchair travel" segments here. This year: The valley of the Red River of the North (Fargo, Grand Forks, Winnipeg), Chicago, Toronto (again), Indianapolis, Des Moines, and Milwaukee. If you have suggestions on how to make these even better, I am all ears.
